Marisa is an American Ballet Theatre Training Curriculum certified teacher. She began her dance training at Wayne Ballet and Centre for Dance Arts in Wayne, Pennsylvania. She continued her pre-professional training with Brandywine Ballet Company, where she studied under Martha Chamberlain and Nancy Page. While there, She performed works by Meredith Rainey and George Balanchine. She continued her training with American Repertory Ballet, where she attended their trainee program for two years. She studied under Douglas Martin, Kathleen Moore, Maria Youskevitch, and Kirk Peterson. She performed in works such as Douglas Martins A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Rite of Spring, and The Nutcracker. In 2016, Marisa joined The Montgomery Ballet. She performed as Clara in The Nutcracker, Canary Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, and an Odalisque in Le Corsaire. Marisa is excited to start her second season with Ballet Dallas under the artistic direction of Carter Alexander.
